Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking entry-level Engineers to research, develop, analyze, implement, and test new capabilities for autonomous undersea systems, focusing on guidance and control systems.

Responsibilities
- Design algorithms for vehicle guidance and control in an undersea environment, including signal processing, detection, classification, tracking, and autonomous decision-making
- Analyze multi-sensor data to evaluate system performance
- Design, implement, integrate, and test software to demonstrate guidance and control algorithms
- Investigate and evaluate applicability of theories and practices to the development of guidance and control systems
- Lead specific tasks within the project scope
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- You working location will be full on-site located in State College, PA
