Boeing Flight Controls is looking for a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineering Manager to manage critical work statements within the team, requiring technical knowledge of Flight Control systems and strong leadership capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience with Flight Controls system design
- Experience working development and sustaining programs
- Experience working with system engineering principles
- Experience working directly with Boeing suppliers and customers
- Experience leading and mentoring large engineering teams
- Knowledge of flight controls systems
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and manage tasks while adhering to schedules, take responsibility for all aspects of issue resolution, and lead teams through rapidly changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of technical decision-making and engineering quality
- Managing team priorities, work statement, and budget allocation
- Reporting and elevating status to senior leadership
- Direct coordination with Suppliers and/or Customers
- Performance management and mentorship of an engineering team
- Cross-functional coordination with other organizations such as Avionics, Crew Ops, Airplane Safety, Aero, System Stress, Production Engineering, and/or Supply Chain
