Peloton is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of their tablet portfolio, which is the heart of the Peloton experience, integrating custom hardware, award-winning content, and proprietary software.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience as a Product Manager in the consumer electronics space
- Knowledgeable about end-to-end system architecture at a deep level
- Comfortable discussing tradeoffs and requirements with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
- Deep understanding of the hardware development process, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance
- Experience working with global teams is a plus
- Passion for fitness and an understanding of the connected fitness landscape is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own the Tablet Product Strategy: Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Peloton tablet portfolio
- Lead the Product Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and post-launch analysis
- Champion the User: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user studies to identify new opportunities and validate product decisions
- Measure and Optimize: Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for future improvement
- Work with a highly cross-functional team (Industrial Design, Hardware and Software Engineering, Operations, Content, and Marketing)
- Make difficult feature tradeoff decisions using deep understanding of end-to-end system architecture
- Inform product decisions with a deep understanding of consumer electronics and the ability to operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and content
