The iPhone team is looking for a technical engineering manager to lead a team of engineers and work on the development of the iPhone, making meaningful design decisions and solving complex problems.
Requirements
- Strong EE fundamentals including analog and high speed digital design
- Experience with designing complex system architectures
- Broad experience across different applications and technologies
- Experience with schematic capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout
- Experience in prototype design and validation of custom silicon
- Familiar with development process from early architecture through to production
- Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issues

- Manage and support a team of talented Electrical Engineers working on designs that continually push the boundaries of technology and shape the iPhone user experience
- Design and integration of custom hardware into constrained systems
- Work daily with multi-functional technology teams in a fast-paced environment

Other
- BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of industry experience
- 2+ years of lead or management experience
- Desire to be a visible project leader and decision maker
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
