The iPhone team is looking for a technical engineering manager to lead a team of engineers in delivering the future of iPhone by making meaningful design decisions and solving complex problems.
Requirements
- Using your skills in Electrical Engineering as well as your board and system level knowledge
- Strong EE fundamentals including analog and high speed digital design
- Experience with designing complex system architectures
- Broad experience across different applications and technologies
- Experience in prototype design and validation of custom silicon
- Strong fundamentals in Signal and Power Integrity
- Understanding of low voltage power regulation and delivery
Responsibilities
- manage and support a team of talented Electrical Engineers working on designs that continually push the boundaries of technology and shape the iPhone user experience
- design and integration of custom hardware into constrained systems
- working daily with multi-functional technology teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze solutions and make system design trade-offs
- Ability to dive deep into system level issues and drive solutions in a multi-functional environment
- Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issues
- Experience with schematic capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout
Other
- leadership position in hardware design that starts at product concept and continues all the way through to mass production
- This individual will be required to travel internationally as need arises
- 2+ years of lead or management experience
- Desire to be a visible project leader and decision maker
- Familiar with development process from early architecture through to production
