The Hardware Validation Engineering (HVE) team needs to architect methods to test new system hardware with the macOS environment to catch issues early in the hardware life cycle for next generation Mac systems.
Requirements
- Experience in programming with focus on Python and web technologies.
- Previous experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon validation SW Tools environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Test automation technologies and implementation.
- Code revisioning, review and CI primarily in Gitlab
Responsibilities
- Creating and managing test automation capabilities for large scale system level validation.
- Managing web based tools for data collection, analysis and test execution that scales with multiple lab locations and system testing needs.
- Defining Lab and Infrastructure HW and SW needs and working with internal and external teams to develop and maintain these capabilities.
- Engaging with other teams to evaluate existing tools and integrating into the environment where applicable.
- Managing lab operations including unit and facility configurations across multiple geographic and lab locations.
- Coordinating the lab team and the engineering teams to enable critical validation activities base on system build and software enablement schedules.
