Apple's Hardware Validation Engineering (HVE) team is looking to solve the problem of post-silicon hardware system validation of next generation Mac systems
Requirements
- Previous experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon validation SW tools environment
- Knowledge and understanding of test automation technologies and implementation
- Large scale testing and lab management
- Code revisioning, review and CI primarily in Gitlab
- Experience in programming with focus on Python and web technologies
- Knowledge of test automation technologies
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Managing web based tools for data collection, analysis and test execution that scales with multiple lab locations and system testing needs
- Defining Lab and Infrastructure HW and SW needs and working with internal and external teams to develop and maintain these capabilities
- Engaging with other teams to evaluate existing tools and integrating into the environment where applicable
- Managing lab operations including unit and facility configurations across multiple geographic and lab locations
- Coordinating the lab team and the engineering teams to enable critical validation activities base on system build and software enablement schedules
- Leading all aspects of a team of engineers and technicians creating and managing test automation capabilities for large scale system level validation
- Use your in-depth software knowledge to enable testing on new silicons and system architecture
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience leading people
- 5+ years of experience working in test and automation
- Excellent communication and partnership skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
