Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a 2026 summer student intern to join their Product Engineering department to support the HD Product Engineers with various projects and daily tasks.
Requirements
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling – Use SolidWorks to draft and design new products, and/or update old drawings.
- Engineering Change Orders – Brush up on your professional and technical writing skills and help with process improvements by working on ECO’s.
- Product Testing – Assist with product testing at Flexco’s in-house testing lab! Tasks vary with hands-on work including but not limited to, welding, hammering, griding, and cutting with various power tools.
- Reporting – Check-in with the team every morning for daily assignments and report on project updates.
- Collaborate with the team for feedback and guidance.

- Full-time, on-site availability (40 hours/week)
- Currently enrolled in college/university with Fall 2026 registration confirmed
- Must be a rising junior or higher
- Major in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
- Non-mechanical degree applicants with strong mechanical aptitude or experience in mechanical design will also be considered
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
