Cedar Gate is looking to implement its analytics vision to support the transformation toward value-based care (VBC). This role involves overseeing the creation, development, and delivery of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and actionable insights that enable payers, providers, and partners to improve outcomes, manage risks effectively, and foster sustainable financial success.

Requirements

  • Experience with Machine Learning and AI deployed within healthcare
  • 15 + years of data analytics/data science experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the analytics function, including data analytics, data science, and AI teams
  • Build scalable, actionable analytics to support risk adjustment, quality measurement, utilization management, and cost/quality optimization
  • Advance predictive and prescriptive modeling to support proactive care
  • Ensure data governance, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Determines the best data mining and analytics tools to be used for Cedar Gate’s consumer data
  • Manages the budget and leads any associated capital planning as it relates to third-party data or data tools

  • Shape the vision for advanced analytics, from predictive risk models to provider performance dashboards, driving measurable results.

  • Work where you are most productive: from home, in the office, or hybrid remote from our corporate office in Greenwich, CT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or the medical field is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to be a capable and collaborative leader with experience and capability to manage, motivate, and develop a staff and attract and retain outstanding talent
  • Proven track record of empowering team members and holding them accountable
  • History of rapidly assessing situations and absorbing & applying new information to decision-making and direction setting
  • Demonstrated confidence and perseverance in addressing challenges and overcoming obstacles
  • Currently eligible to work in the U.S. without assistance in getting an employment visa or work authorization.
