Aloha Beer is looking to elevate their brewing, packaging, and quality control systems and needs an experienced leader to guide their brewing operations into the future.
Requirements
- 10+ years in a production brewery environment (brewing, cellaring, packaging).
- 4-year degree in Food Science, Brewing Technology, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven ability to design and manage quality control programs.
- Hands-on experience with canning/kegging lines and distribution-scale brewing.
- Experience with procurement, inventory management, and cost control.
- Familiarity with brewery software (Ekos or similar).
- Strong knowledge of safety programs and compliance regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee brewing, cellaring, and packaging operations to ensure beer is produced on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
- Build and enforce a rigorous QC/QA program across all products.
- Ensure consistency and reliability at distribution scale, from tank to package.
- Implement and maintain brewery management software (Ekos) for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze performance data; identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with leadership on production planning, capacity, and long-term scaling.
- Oversee safety programs and regulatory compliance (TTB, FDA, OSHA, state/local).
Other
- 5+ years in a management or supervisory role.
- Supervise, hire, and train brewery staff; conduct performance evaluations and foster employee development.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and the right people in the right roles.
