Apple Music is seeking a visionary Head of Product, AI & Personalization to lead the next generation of user-centric experiences powered by cutting-edge artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven experimentation. You will play a key role in shaping how generative AI enriches our products - and by constantly focusing on the consumer, you will create products that are intuitive and useful to billions of people worldwide.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years leading AI/ML or personalization-focused product teams.
- Proven track record of shipping large-scale, ML-powered consumer products.
- Deep understanding of machine learning technologies, recommendation systems, user segmentation, and real-time personalization systems.
- Experience leading experimentation and A/B testing at scale, ideally in a subscription or content platform.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Set the vision and strategy for how we harness artificial intelligence to deliver deeply personal, intuitive, and engaging music experiences.
- Lead the end-to-end product direction for personalization, recommendations, search relevance, user modeling, and content discovery-ensuring that every interaction feels uniquely tailored and aligned with our users’ tastes and behaviors.
- Manage and mentor a team of product managers working across AI/ML, personalization systems, and large-scale experimentation.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, editorial, analytics, and marketing teams to bring personalized features to life across Apple Music.
- Defining product requirements, aligning on technical approaches, and ensuring seamless integration into the broader user experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, personalization, and consumer media, and to continuously bring forward new ideas and strategic insights that shape the future of Apple Music.
