Requirements
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, including regulatory requirements like GxP environments and data integrity.
- Expert-level knowledge of data governance frameworks, architecture principles, master data management, and modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Demonstrated experience driving the implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies that deliver measurable business value, ideally in a manufacturing or technical operations context.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for data management across PT, ensuring alignment with PT's digital strategy and overall ambitions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term data strategy and Data Product roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders to meet organizational objectives.
- Establish and enforce a robust, centralized data governance framework, including policies, standards, and stewardship practices to ensure data quality and security.
- Architect a single, unified data ecosystem that is FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
- Champion a 'data-first' culture across the organization, developing strategies for user engagement and data literacy training.
- Build, recruit, and lead a world-class, globally distributed team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative, agile, and results-oriented environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, building strong strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring data initiatives deliver tangible business value.
Other
- 15+ years of progressive experience in data management, governance, or strategy, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role building and leading centralized data functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a significant advantage.
- Exceptional strategic thinker with proven ability to translate complex business challenges into an actionable data strategy and roadmap.
