Apple Health Software team is looking for a software engineer to contribute to efforts supporting Apple's health research tools and ecosystem, enabling teams across the company to conduct health research and ensuring research participant data is safe, private, and secure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing and building full stack web applications
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience designing responsive frontend applications with modern JavaScript frameworks, with a good foundation in UI/UX design principles
- Record of producing testable, high quality software
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure and security concepts
- Experience developing scalable backend services
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable full-stack web applications
- Participate in projects with multiple engineers to deliver new features from concept to production
- Lead and participate in technical design reviews, ensuring system design aligns with business objectives, engineering best practices, and security requirements
- Design and implement test automation to validate system behavior and prevent regressions
- Investigate and debug production applications and systems
- Monitor system health with metrics and logs; set up alerts and dashboards
