Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring, and hiring independent, highly effective quality engineers
- Overseeing development of comprehensive feature test plans
- Accurately scoping the effort and work items required to complete large feature projects
- Assisting direct reports in proper scoping and prioritization of testing deliverables
- Representing the team in technical and project meetings while evangelizing our values
- Partnering with engineering managers to ensure features are designed for testability
- Shipping new health-related features across Apple platforms that meet or exceed our high standards for quality
Other
- Minimum of five years of experience working in Software Quality Assurance required
- Minimum of two years recent experience working as a Software Quality Assurance lead or manager required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple
- Ability to attract, hire, retain, motivate the best talent
