Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers. The Healthcare Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing healthcare repricing claim data, with a focus on various pricing methodologies including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursements. This role involves leveraging data to ensure accurate and efficient claim processing, offer insights into contract performance, and communicate results to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis.
- 1+ years in claim reimbursement methodologies (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial)
- Experience with Tableau is a bonus but not required.
- Strong excel skills required
- Proficient in SQL (Select, Joins, CTE, Sub Queries)
- Proficiency other Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
- Strong analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret healthcare claim data to support/recommend decision-making processes.
- Analyze and interact with data in SQL tables.
- Utilize Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Understand claim payment methodologies such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Reimbursement.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present data findings (Tableau experience is a plus).
- Actively contribute innovative ideas and support ad hoc projects, including time-sensitive requests
- Maintains awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy.
