HilltopSecurities is looking to hire an HFA TBA Data Analyst to redo the existing reporting framework for the whole loan trading desk and build a similar reporting framework for the compliance business.
Requirements
- Programming knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA and familiarity with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
- Working knowledge of SSRS and PowerBI preferred for data visualization projects
- Basic knowledge of fixed-income math, working knowledge of Bloomberg preferred
Responsibilities
- Development, enhancement & maintenance of reporting framework to be used both on the TBA side, and the Compliance side
- Performing data analysis using SQL programming and/or Python
- Data visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Microsoft SQL Platform and Power BI)
- Business recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance business strategies, improve processes and drive efficiency.

- An aptitude for zero fault tolerance and attention to detail
