Intelliforce is seeking a High-Performance Software Engineer III to engineer the future of national security by shaping mission-driven solutions that leverage advanced computing power to solve complex challenges, strengthen critical intelligence missions, and help keep the nation safe.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting for automation.
- Hands-on HPC technical knowledge (compute, network, memory, storage).
- Proven experience developing in C, C++, and Python in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with build frameworks such as CMake.
- Expertise in optimizing code performance through parallelization and vectorization.
- Skilled in HPC benchmarking, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, PodMan, containerd).
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and optimizing software in C, C++, and Python within Linux environments.
- Debugging and enhancing existing software to boost scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Performing benchmarking and performance tuning for multiple HPC node types.
- Automating workflows and deployments with Bash/Python scripting and tools like Ansible.
- Leveraging CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and source control (Git) to streamline development.
- Containerizing and integrating applications with Docker, PodMan, or containerd.
- Documenting software design, implementation, and performance optimizations for engineering and mission teams.

- Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) with 5+ years of SWE experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) with 7+ years of SWE experience, OR 9+ years of equivalent SWE experience in similar mission environments.
- Strong Linux CLI experience.
- Experience with IaC and automation frameworks (Ansible).
