Aagard is looking to develop and modify HMI applications with a focus on reliability, innovation, and user experience to improve operator efficiency and ease of use.
Requirements
- Exposure to FactoryTalk View Studio and/or FactoryTalk Optix Studio
- Knowledge of PLC programming and methods, primarily with Allen-Bradley software products.
- Ability to view and understand CAD drawings and use of Aagard software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify HMI applications with an intense dedication to ensure reliable and innovative machine interfaces.
- Research industry standards and trends to enhance functionality and performance.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for new and existing HMI systems.
- Design intuitive HMI applications that improve operator efficiency and ease of use.
- Collaborate with internal team members to gather accurate information for HMI development.
- Update and enforce Aagard standards for HMI applications and documentation.
- Address customer feedback to ensure usability and continuous improvement.
Other
- Associate’s degree in related field plus one-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Train internal and external customers on HMI functionality and documentation.
