T. Rowe Price is seeking an HR Data Analyst to contribute to compensation programs and processes, ensuring innovative pay programs and maintaining internal equity and external competitiveness.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Solid knowledge of compensation processes and practices, particularly around benchmarking and managing of salary structures
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification is a plus, but not required.
- Asset management and/or financial services industry experience.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and with teams
Responsibilities
- Conducts research on compensation programs and gathers competitive intelligence to contribute to the development and implementation of best-in-class programs that align with business needs.
- Conducts analysis that informs business decisions by leveraging relevant external and internal data sources.
- Analyzes jobs through the job evaluation process to ensure internal equity of positions across job families and grade levels.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners.
- With guidance, may manage a small compensation project that requires a standard solution, including establishing a project plan, coordinating and managing resources.
- Matches T. Rowe Price positions to external market data, identifies internal comparisons, and recommends grade and salary changes.
- Owns work of assigned BUs and/or region.
Other
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 2+ years of total relevant work experience in compensation and/or data analysis
- Ability to communicate and consult with colleagues at multiple levels, including with HR colleagues and Business Unit Leaders/ Managers
- Commitment to excellence in service and client relationship management
- FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
