Canonical is looking to support its HR functions across the AMER region by hiring a Graduate HR Generalist who can contribute to the development and execution of people strategies and ensure the smooth operation of HR processes on a global scale.
Requirements
- Internship experience in HR or a related People function (preferred, especially in technology sectors)
- High level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality handling
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update HRIS with high accuracy and timeliness for all employee data and changes
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation, system setup, and initial reviews
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and payroll data accuracy
- Liaise with payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate salary payments
- Create purchase orders for internal departments as required
- Conduct regular audits of employment files and HR systems to ensure compliance with GDPR and internal standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to HR function enhancements
