Amazon is looking for an HR Investigator to thoroughly and expeditiously investigate all associate concerns in a fair, unbiased and consistent manner for their US locations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- 3+ years of employee relations, human resources or employment/labor law experience
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
Responsibilities
- Conducting complainant, witness and subject employee interviews
- Analyzing data from various internal systems
- Case adjudication
- Proposing remedial action based on investigation findings
- Production of completed investigation documentation
- Independently manage assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively
- Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedback
Other
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates an ability to earn trust, dive deep and work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee and labor relations issues and business challenges.
- Ability to balance time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in the position.
