CBRE is looking to formalize, standardize, and scale safety and risk management processes across client's hardware development teams and retail operations to ensure consistent safety approaches and comprehensive product stewardship.

Requirements

  • Experience with developing and integrating enterprise wide HSE programs and policies while ensuring continuity of operational processes.
  • Experience developing and implementing HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to solve problems and to anticipate hazards.
  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to drive decisions, lead meetings/strategy discussions, define priorities, and decide which course of action (and adjust when it needs adjusting).
  • 5+ years of project management / program management experience and ability to use common project management tools and processes.
  • Experience managing long-term or complex programs with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support client teams in providing ongoing safety support to the retail team across four key areas: real estate, design and development, new store opening (NSO) readiness, and ongoing operations.
  • Assist in creating standardized EHS guidelines and procedures for both new and existing retail locations to ensure consistency in the safety approach across the growing store footprint.
  • Support the establishment of a unified, comprehensive, and standardized framework for the end-to-end safety management of internal product development and testing, covering device safety information, device lifecycle management, and incident management.
  • Help create frameworks to determine when device-specific hazard information is required for a project, escalating safety concerns related to devices used in product testing, and for sharing essential safety information for unreleased devices distributed to internal users.
  • Support the formalization of criteria around device-specific safety programs including reverse logistics programs, incident management processes, and incident escalation.
  • Help develop a standardized process and a risk assessment template for conducting collaborative risk assessments for product testing.
  • Manage projects covering cross-functional risk assessment processes within EHS and stakeholder teams

Other

  • This role is very cross-functional - solving complex risk management challenges; working with program development, operational integration, risk partners across the enterprise, and many other functions.
  • Experience and ability to communicate and implement process changes with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to conduct workshops and training across multiple levels of expertise.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
