Humana Government Business (HGB) is seeking a Government Business Information Technology (IT) Co-op to assist with contract requirement projects and technical problem resolution for the Tricare East Region, focusing on Telephony and IVR systems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Sciences, or similar field.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with contract requirement projects and technical problem resolution.
- Researching and resolving technical issues related to reporting, call routing, IVR pathways, workforce management, coding, development, and cloud buildout engagements.
- Responding to telephone, email, and online requests for technical support, with a focus on Telephony and IVR systems.
- Documenting, tracking, and monitoring issues using applicable systems and tools.
- Researching and resolving technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first line support teams.
- Supporting reporting initiatives and optimization of IVR pathways and call routing.
- Assisting in workforce management activities and cloud buildout projects.

- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Have a strong academic history, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA being desired.
- Possess an interest in working in the healthcare industry.
- Previous experience working in a customer service-related job or internship.
