The Hybrid Water Treatment Technical Application Engineer will lead and manage multiple projects throughout the sales cycle, providing technical support to the regional sales team from lead qualification to contract signature and handoff to Project Management execution.
Requirements
- Proficient in water treatment processes, system design principles, and equipment design and selection
Responsibilities
- Complete preliminary process designs, using tools and models provided by BU, and generate P&IDs with minimal oversight
- Calculate project pricing, including working with vendors to ensure equipment meets project guidelines
- Review technical specifications and provide necessary clarifications and exceptions
- Develop and maintain standard sales tools, such as specification documents and pricing sheets
- Provide technical training and support to junior engineers
- Help develop project solutions and winning strategies for ongoing projects.
- Lead bid preparation and help develop and manage proposal documentation
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Engineering or other technical fields)
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Strong technical competence and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
