GEICO is looking to expand its business-to-business agency sales by hiring Business Developers who can drive strategic sales initiatives, build GEICO business within defined territories, and provide guidance to agencies to improve customer experience, sales closure, and retention.
Requirements
- 3 years sales experience (business-to-business sales a plus)
- Experience interpreting and analyzing data to make informed decisions that support growth initiatives
- Knowledge of industry changes, technology, and desire for continued learning
- Prior experience with caseload management and customer follow-up (Claims experience a plus)
- Prior experience working with different lines of insurance a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health)
- Prior experience working with independent insurance agents
Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic sales initiatives with a defined territory of agencies
- Build their book of GEICO business through approved underwriting practices
- Acts as a subject matter expert of product lines and systems to provide recommendations that improve customer experience, sales closure, and retention with new and existing customers in the business-to-business space
- Help their agencies achieve sales targets through actionable goal setting and understanding of their business needs

- Incumbent would be required to work full-time in office - must live within commuting distance to 21420 Merchants Way, Katy, TX 77449
- Highly effective oral and written communicator – must be comfortable presenting, persuading, and networking through multiple channels (in-person, virtually, over the phone, etc.)
- Ability to work individually and as a team collaborator with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree
