Skyworks is seeking a Summer Intern for 2026 to join the IC Development Software team within the Timing Business R&D team. The intern will contribute to developing cutting-edge technologies for wired and wireless connectivity, focusing on software development for new product development, desktop and firmware applications, CLI tools, API development, and database integration.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level language: C, Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with low-level firmware programming.
- Background in Electrical Engineering, particularly digital logic.
Responsibilities
- Developing new applications and supporting existing ones using best coding practices.
- Working independently on a personal project.
- Solving key mixed-signal challenges through software solutions.
- Contributing to new product development.
- Contributing to desktop and firmware application development.
- Contributing to command-line interface (CLI) tools.
- Contributing to API development to control IC devices and instruments.
