Ingram Content Group (ICG) is looking to provide current students with practical, real-world experience/exposure within the areas of Infrastructure Services, Service Desk, and Software Development to contribute to their IT Support team
Requirements
- Technical knowledge regarding desktops/laptops, servers, networks, Windows / Linux operating systems or application development
- 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of organization, operating procedures and policies of the company
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance and support to department associates while becoming familiar with the organization
- Provides analysis and reporting support for department
- Monitors assigned objectives and works with business leaders to develop and prioritize projects/assignments
- Communicates necessary updates/information to department associates
- Completes real world IT challenge project as part of the Internship curriculum
Other
- Current Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s student with an Information Technology Major
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time
- Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
- Ability to maintain consistent, punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to engage in active listening with coworkers, management and clients/customers
