FirePoint Innovations is looking for a technical leader to design, build, implement, and maintain highly-complex or large-scale software products for third-party customers, providing technical direction and leadership to a team.
Requirements
- Experience in Software Architecture
- Experience in Software Choreography and Orchestration
- Diverse knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence as it applies to multiple disciplines (such as but not limited to: cyber security, software development, and innovation research).
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, implements, and maintains new highly-complex or large-scale software products or enhancements to existing software for third-party customers.
- Designs, develops and implements highly complex software solutions that align with the business, development, deployment and maintenance needs of the customer.
- Researches, supports and participates in discussions for implementation decisions for highly complex software solutions.
- Researches, evaluates and prototypes new methodologies, technologies and products and improvements in processes and tools.
- Works with customers and internal team members to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Develops software user manuals.
Other
- Oversees projects, assigns resources and delegates tasks appropriately.
- Oversees and directs all project timelines and deliverables for technical team.
- Provides leadership and direction to technical team.
- Six (6) years of working experience with design, architecture, and implementation of complex software and IT projects. Every 30 hours of related college coursework can be substituted for one (1) year of working experience.
- One (1) year of experience managing technical and/or project teams is required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.
