Advancing statewide Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) efforts by delivering strategic technical assistance, strengthening provider capacity, overseeing grant and contract compliance, and championing evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in use of computer hardware & software used for spreadsheets, statistical analysis, graphics presentation & word processing.
- 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in research methodology, measurement & testing, analysis of variance & survey sampling

Responsibilities
- Serve as DCY’s subject matter expert on IECMH implementation through technical assistance and workforce development strategies.
- Lead collaboration across DCY divisions, programs, and service providers to ensure TA aligns with best practices and is informed by data.
- Build and facilitate partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, future-focused ECMH technical assistance.
- Gather stakeholder input, facilitate meetings, and support initiatives that expand access and promote equity in early childhood services.
- Stay current on research and evidence-based strategies related to social-emotional development and IECMH.
- Coordinate cross-sector efforts to strengthen service networks and address systemic access barriers.
- Develop and disseminate training materials, guidance, and communication tools tailored to provider and family needs.

- Must provide own transportation or in order to operate a state vehicle, you must have a valid driver’s license.
- Travel required, as needed.
- The final candidate selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check.
- Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, health services public administration, public policy management or comparable field; 36 mos. exp. in researching, developing or implementing policies related to social services, health services, public policy or comparable field
- Completion of graduate course coursework in social or behavioral science, health services public administration, public policy management or comparable field; 24 mos. exp. in researching, developing or implementing policies related to social services, health services, public policy or comparable field
