The Integrated Eligibility System (IES) within the Office of Information Technology Services (IES) requires a Lead .NET Developer to implement high-quality code that meets project requirements and adheres to state and federal compliance standards, impacting millions of New Yorkers.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in software development using .NET/C-Sharp across high-profile projects with complex business logic and developing web-based applications in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Six (6) to nine (9) years of experience working with SQL Server, stored procedure, and database performance optimizations.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX)
- More than four (4) years of experience integrating APIs, web services, or third-party systems.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React Angular, or Vue.j.s).
- Experience with Dee Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DeveOps, Jenkins).
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable applications using .NET technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, testers, and other development teams.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code aligned with coding standards.
- Oversee and participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and identify root cause.
- Review , manage, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain and review technical documentation, system design and unit testing
