The Integrated Eligibility System (IES) within the Office of Information Technology Services (IES) needs a .NET Developer to implement high-quality code that meets project requirements and adheres to state and federal compliance standards, directly impacting the functionality and user experience of a system used by millions of New Yorkers.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in software development using .NET/C-Sharp across high-profile projects with complex business logic and developing web-based applications in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of experience working with SQL Server, stored procedure, and database performance optimizations.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX)
- More than two (2) years of experience integrating APIs, web services, or third-party systems.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React Angular, or Vue.j.s).
- Experience with Dee Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DeveOps, Jenkins).
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using. NET technologies including using C-Sharp and ASP.NET MVC.
- Collaborate with business analysts and testers to define technical solutions and resolve defects.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code aligned with coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and identify root cause.
- Contribute to technical documentation, system design and unit testing.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices in coordination with DevOps teams.
