Meta is looking to create illustrations in a new illustration style to support its ads and business products, and to implement them across products at a high level of quality that inspires user confidence, clarity, and trust.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in illustration
• An illustration portfolio that demonstrates conceptual, compositional, and color skills
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and vector graphics
• Experience working on projects such as editorial illustrations, storyboards, narrative, promotional campaigns
• Experience developing illustration concepts for motion and telling universal stories
• Experience creating simple animations in After Effects
• Experience developing creative for in-product use

Responsibilities

• Help maintain the highest level of visual design craft in our products
• Generate concepts and illustrations quickly based on team art direction and stakeholder feedback
• Manage multiple individual projects in an organized way that guarantees on time delivery and a clear work flow
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Content Strategists, Art Directors, and Creative Directors to understand how the product needs map within an illustration/animation system
• Consider how all aspects of a product (content, design, and illustration) work together, and how illustration can be used to strengthen user experience
