The organization, a global expert in clinical trial endpoints, is looking to solve the problem of improving medical image analysis, software pipeline improvements, algorithm development, and machine learning model evaluation to support the R&D team.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python and/or MATLAB
- Experience with scientific computing and machine learning libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn)
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or Tensorflow, both preferred)
- Familiarity with image processing libraries (OpenCV, SimpleITK, or ITK)
- Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks, Matplotlib, and related tools
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve software pipelines and workflows for image analysis
- Support medical image algorithm development and analysis
- Help train and evaluate machine learning models
- Contribute to code optimization and reproducibility
- Implement image processing solutions in collaboration with R&D and Software Development teams
- Use software development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, DevOps, Git, and MATLAB for algorithm development
- Apply machine learning techniques to enhance image analysis accuracy and efficiency
Other
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or related quantitative discipline
- Ability to document work and communicate findings clearly
- Ability to work independently and assess project needs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to contribute in a team environment
