FIS is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the delivery of best-in-breed products that advance how people pay, bank, and invest. The role involves bridging the gap between technical product specifics and client challenges, and guiding customer IT staff on FIS products.
Requirements
- Must have strong Windows Desktop / Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn, understand, and communicate system architectures from high level to granular details.
- Comfortable with training customer’s technical staff on how to implement and administer FIS products.
- Able to own issues from start to finish, including identification, research, and delivery of resolution.
- Able to work with and troubleshoot common off the shelf software / hardware.
- Functional understanding of Active Directory and related IT infrastructure essentials (User Accounts, RAID, TLS, SSL, SAN, RAM, CPU, VDI, NAS, Citrix, Terminal Server, Thin Client, AS400).
- Strong with SQL Server administration (installation, security, maintenance, database backup / restore).
Responsibilities
- Leverage your skills with Windows Desktop / Server, SQL, Linux, and general IT administration, to deliver successful implementations of FIS products running on those platforms.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and engage the correct technical resources on both the FIS and customer side.
- Translate technical product specifics and client challenges into clear and concise stories for technical and non-technical people.
- Build automation and enhance procedures for product implementations.
- Deliver excellence for our current and future products.
- Follow established procedures for the products you will be working with.
- Work directly with client, project, and/or program managers to implement FIS products successfully, within product specifications, scope of work, and established timeframes.
