Healthesystems needs a project manager to support implementations, process improvements, and consultative services to complete enterprise initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Experience managing and leading Agile and Waterfall based projects.
- Knowledge and experience using the SAFe framework is a plus.
- Experience in vendor and contract management useful.
- Prior experience in software product implementation and/or project management is required.
- Experience working with project teams in an influential role to deliver foundational and enabling solutions based on business requirements, technology standards, service level agreements and approved funding.
- Experience in requirements gathering
- Experience in risk mitigation
Responsibilities
- Implementation of software, system, and enterprise applications that promote staff productivity, product health, efficient business operations and resource usage.
- Create project forecasts to inform Portfolio priorities.
- Lead project teams and oversees the planning, strategy and execution of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives.
- Work with both internal and external groups to understand operational and business requirements, applicable technologies, products and/or services to meet the customer’s needs as well as contractual obligations.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered to scope, schedule, and of the highest quality standards utilizing the organization’s documented Project Management and SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) methodologies.
- Oversee the actions of in-house development, business analysts, vendors and other teams as needed to create and accomplish goals in support of customer needs.
- Maintain documentation, ensuring system technology needs, providing quality assurance and production support, and managing the entire project.
Other
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; plus five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Variable work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required due to the nature of installed technologies and utilization requirements.
- Must be comfortable with change, close collaboration, and have excellent conflict resolution skills.
