Clarios is looking to solve industrial engineering problems through continuous improvement projects, process mapping, and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and simplify processes
Requirements
- Use data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to translate raw data into actionable insights
- Apply Lean principles to simplify processes and reduce waste
- Engage in on-site observations and performance reviews to validate findings
- Present results and suggestions to the leadership team, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
Responsibilities
- Assisting in time and motion studies, layout analysis, and process mapping
- Supporting continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
- Collecting and analyzing production or operations data to identify improvement opportunities
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation
- Assisting with performance metrics tracking and visual management systems (dashboards, KPIs)
- Participating in cross-functional meetings and presenting findings or recommendations
Other
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Duration: Summer 2026, up to 40 hours per week, part-time during the school year may be available
- Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
