Rock of Ages is looking to solve the problem of creating specialized products for customers in the U.S. and abroad by hiring an Industrial Products technician to join their Precision Products team.
Requirements
- Experience in stone manufacturing is desirable, but not required because WE WILL TRAIN YOU.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a production team.
Responsibilities
- Read customer provided prints and plan for installation of inserts.
- Installation of stainless-steel inserts.
- Keep track of insert inventory as well as other supplies (epoxy and other consumables).
- Assist in assembly of Precision granite components.
- Build wooden crates as needed (use of saws and nail guns).
- Clean, inspect and package granite components and assemblies for shipping.
- Use hand tools (grinders and pneumatic chisels).

- Ability to stand and frequently required to walk.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, push and pull on conveyors within the parameters of their work-release status.
