The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is looking to improve its software asset management systems and processes by coordinating with customer agencies and managing day-to-day software licensing functions.
Requirements
- Ability to understand technical solutions
- Experience with management of enterprise software such as Adobe and Microsoft preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the project management of the Software Asset Management (SAM) effort as DTS implements the system in our ServiceNow environment as well as coordinate ongoing efforts utilizing the SAM Pro system
- Software inventory management (order tracking, distribution/installation, billing, key management, audit, reconciliation)
- Develops logs and/or reports
- Assists customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items.
- Understanding current processes and systems and how to use available technical systems to come up with creative solutions
- Understand day-to-day processes to assist DTS software coordinators as needed

- Excellent communicator to work with management and leadership staff
- Ability to communicate effectively with agency personnel
- Ability to work through complex processes to determine solutions
- Understands and has work experience with software licensing models and basics of asset management
- Hybrid of both in-office and telework days (two days a week, in office required at the Taylorsville State Office Building)
- Ability to communicate professionally to C-Level employees
- Customer service oriented

- Ability to use analytical data to creatively promote initiatives
