Wilmington Trust Institutional Services (IS) division is experiencing rapid business growth and has initiated a strategic digital transformation program to grow revenue through new and transformed digital-first trust and agency service products, to move from a product-centric to client-centric operating model, to move from market-specific to global solutions, and to dramatically lower the cost to serve.
Requirements
- Knowledge of data structures, data stores, data marts, and APIs
- Proven experience in advanced information (data) architecture concepts
- Proven experience integrating data governance practices into product development
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple data products and digital products
- Robust understanding of full-cycle product development within an Agile framework
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with large and complex database management systems
- TOGAF Business Architecture certification and/or experience with ArchiMate and BPMN
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Information Architecture (IA) including logical hierarchies and taxonomies using adapted business architecture frameworks and metamodel for Institutional Services
- Facilitate analysis and development of complex logical database designs, logical data models, and relational data definitions in support of information systems and digital product platforms
- Use modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, BPMN) to document information architecture
- Maintain repositories of information architecture deliverables with traceability
- Lead multiple data product teams through matrixed leadership of functional associates as well as indirect influence and task assignment authority for matrixed resources, mentoring, and developing all product team members to fulfill the data product vision
- Understand products in the Bank’s data product ecosystem to continue to generate value for the business
- Serve as liaison between business/functional areas and Technology to ensure business data requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and weighed in conjunction with competing priorities from other projects

- Minimum of 9 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 13 years’ higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 9 years’ related experience
