The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking innovative thinkers with vision to build the framework that will carry the Bank into the future, specifically within the Information Security (IS) Team.

Requirements

  • Strong computer/technical skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access (or familiarity with other data access tools).

Responsibilities

  • You will support the risk management and operational responsibilities of the Information Security Officer.
  • Information Security is responsible for delivery of information security awareness, compliance, and monitoring programs, facilitating the review of logical access, and incident response activities.
  • IS also has a primary obligation in protecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability for FRS systems and data.
  • Additionally, the IS Team is responsible for Business Continuity, Data Privacy and Electronic Records Management programs within the Cleveland Federal Reserve.

Other

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Management Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering
  • Need to have one semester remaining upon completion of the internship.
  • Must be proactive, self-directed, strong attention to detail and organized.
  • Excellent planning/documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work both in a group setting and on an individual basis.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • To be considered for this role, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
  • Our interns will work onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio location.
  • We’re looking for collaborative and innovative full-time students entering their sophomore year or beyond.
  • Our student interns work 40 hours per week for the duration of a 10- to 12-week internship that starts as early as June and ends as late as September, depending on student schedules and business needs.
