L3Harris is seeking to fill an Information System Security Engineering Intern position to support cybersecurity efforts, specifically focusing on the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Process, to help safeguard their systems.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline).
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Support Cybersecurity Requirements : Collaborate with ISSEs to identify protection needs for systems, software, and networks. Document security controls/requirements for inclusion in the system requirements specifications.
- Support Cybersecurity Design: Assist system engineers in overarching system design with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Support Creation of Cybersecurity Body of Evidence: Create and review System Security Plans (SSPs), System/Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Network and Dataflow Drawings.
- Support Cybersecurity Verification/Test: Verify security control implementation through development and execution of Cybersecurity Test Plans/Procedures and use of System Scanning Tools.
