Kittle Property Group is seeking an IT Intern to support the IT staff and gain hands-on experience in a real-world IT setting, to help deliver value-driven solutions and maintain the integrity and reliability of their network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Beginner to intermediate experience with Exchange Server, routers and switches, Windows Server, Windows Clients, Citrix, MS Office, Symantec, and backup execution.
- Strong math skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning skills to understand and execute detailed instructions.
- Computer Skills – Beginner to Intermediate experience with Exchange Server, routers and switches, Windows Server, Windows Clients, Citrix, MS Office, Symantec, Internet Explorer (or similar) and backup execution.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compare rate, ratio and percentages and interpret basic graphs.
- Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding.
Responsibilities
- Respond to user helpdesk requests, track progress, and ensure resolution.
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of our network infrastructure.
- Update computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Administer communication systems, including email, telephone, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with vendors to secure site and workstation equipment.
- Assist the Network Administrator and Sr. VP of IT with special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Other
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.A/B.S) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- 0-10% travel may be required.
