Phillips Edison & Company is looking for an Information Technology Intern to assist the Enterprise Application Team in planning, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web and desktop-based business applications, reports, and system integrations. The intern will also help document business requirements, user stories, estimates, and project plans, and provide third-level application support.
Requirements
- A current university student enrolled in a degree seeking program studying Computer Science, Information Systems or another business-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Bachelors or better in Computer Science or related field.
- Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field.
Responsibilities
- Act as development resource, Enterprise Application Team to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications, reports and system integrations (60%)
- Assist in the collection and documentation of business requirements, development of user stories, time / cost estimates and project plans (20%)
- Provide third-level application support to organization business users. (20%)
- Apply knowledge of software engineering practices (e.g. source control, problem tracking, design principles, etc.)
- Ability to work with different technology stacks
- Learn the IT processes and systems .
- Learn or further develop the process of documenting work performed on projects and communicating effectively with supervisors and company personnel
