Quanta Services is looking for an IT intern to assist with day-to-day tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and participate in IT projects, providing valuable exposure to different areas of IT and helping interns develop essential skills in a professional environment.
Requirements
- Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, e-mail software
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects across the IT department.
- Assist with user support: Respond to and resolve basic technical issues reported by end-users through various channels such as email, phone, or in person.
- Assist in testing and evaluating new software applications or system upgrades to ensure functionality and compatibility.
- Assist in monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing basic network configurations.
- Assist in data management: Support the IT team in data backup, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with ongoing IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, or network enhancements, under the guidance of senior IT staff.
