Synechron is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise corporate security technologies, including surveillance assets, alarm and threat management, and advanced security management. The role involves designing, building, enhancing, and integrating the technology infrastructure to support various platforms, with a focus on corporate security applications and vulnerability remediation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of experience with video surveillance and security alarm systems.
- 3+ years of experience with of IP based network implementations including VLANs, VLAN routing, Access Control Lists.
- 1+ years of experience with field installation of IP Camera, Network Video Recorder and Alarm Panel hardware.
- Experience with Hanwha and Arecont IP camera solutions including interoperability with the Verint surveillance system.
- Experience with the Verint surveillance system solution including OpCenter, VidCenter and Edge VMS components.
- Strong working knowledge of IP based network implementations including VLANs, VLAN routing, Access Control Lists (ACLS), 802.1x Certificate-based authentication, network switch configuration and POE power settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions.
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements.
- Provide corporate security application oversight.
- Vulnerability remediation for both application and endpoint hardware.
- Maintain change management process for applications.
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations.
- Design complex system upgrades.

- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop.
- Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring.
