Sutter Health is looking to develop enterprise technology, solutions, systems, storage, network and telecommunications engineering designs to consolidate and standardize infrastructure throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Experience with Hitachi advanced tools - ShadowImage, ShadowCopy, Tuning Manager, Replication and DR
- Experience with Brocade/Cisco SAN Switches and IBM, HP, Hitachi, EMC, NetApp, and SUN Disk and Subsystems
- Experience with Windows, UNIX and OS400 cross-platform systems environment
- Knowledge of storage environment utilizing Hitachi’s high-end storage technology
- Experience with server systems hardware, operating systems, related subsystems, and application components running on multiple platforms
- Experience with change management practices, performing software upgrades, and troubleshooting issues
- Experience with incident management across all environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of enterprise technology, solutions, systems, storage, network and telecommunications engineering designs
- Interpret architecture requirements, design, product evaluations, selection, configuration, installation, testing and integration of new technology
- Provide in-depth cross-platform server systems, systems engineering, and integration leadership
- Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors
- Supporting large complex environments consisting of 5 PBs environments using Hitachi advanced tools
- Specification, design, engineering, configuration, testing, and implementation of server systems hardware, operating systems, related subsystems, and application components running on multiple platforms
- Supporting storage environment utilizing Hitachi’s high-end storage technology consisting of ShadowImage (SI), TrueCopy, and Hitachi Unified Replication (HUR)
Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, IT, Engineering or a closely-related field
- 3 years of experience in job offered or a Programmer Analyst, IT or Engineering - related occupation
- Alternate Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Technology, IT, Engineering or a closely-related field and 5 years of experience
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction
- Ability to work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues from different departments
