Carollo Engineers is seeking infrastructure engineers to work on challenging water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and other diverse projects.

Requirements

• Degree in civil or environmental engineering or related engineering field
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California and/or Hawaii or EIT certification or passed FE exam
• Ability to apply critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with system modeling and hydraulic calculations
• Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design and construction
• Familiarity with engineering software and tools

Responsibilities

• Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects
• Perform data entry and analysis
• Perform system modeling and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities
• Prepare cost estimates
• Perform permitting and alternatives analysis
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, plans and specifications, and other deliverables
• Perform engineering services during construction, including reviewing contractor submittals for conformance with contract documents contractor requests for information

• Travel may be required depending on the project assignment but most projects are local
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams
