Requirements
- EBS Applications 12.2
- Oracle database 19c
- Knowledge of computer architecture and systems programming
- Ability to design, build and integrate IT hardware into multi-platforms for the organization
- Knowledge of system and software testing
- Ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques
Responsibilities
- Maintain the infrastructure of IT systems that support the business to function efficiently
- Design solutions by assessing and aligning the current systems to best practices and comply to Caterpillar policies and procedures and IT general controls
- Administrate servers and automated workflow tools; work with server virtualization technologies
- Administer updates, upgrades, and other maintenance tasks in both hardware and software areas, to make the network more efficient, cost-effective, and secure
- Execute the design, build, deployment, and continue to maintain the IT infrastructure using appropriate and trending technologies
- Provide effective technical solutions to routine functional challenges via sound technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues
- Support the project leader in developing and executing system test plans
