Requirements
- Experience with software packaging and deployment in Windows environments.
- Extensive experience with tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Intune, AdminStudio, InstallShield, and MSI.
- Deep knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, and VBScript).
- Understanding of Windows desktops, servers, and Active Directory.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation).
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud desktop solutions.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Create and customize installation packages for commercial and in-house applications using tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Intune, AdminStudio, InstallShield, and MSI.
- Manage application upgrades, updates, and patches, keeping documentation and version control up to date.
- Test packaged software to verify proper installation and compatibility, resolving conflicts as needed.
- Work with deployment teams to roll out applications, troubleshoot errors, and support users after deployment.
- Write and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch) to streamline packaging and deployment.
- Ensure all packages follow security policies and compliance requirements.
- Document packaging processes and troubleshooting steps for team use.
