As a Software Engineer III, you’ll help design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge software solutions for High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Requirements
- Proficiency with the Linux CLI.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Hands-on experience developing software with Python and Rust in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, PodMan, containerd).
- Knowledge of automation frameworks like Ansible.
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills for operational system environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Responsibilities
- Designing, coding, and debugging complex software in Linux-based HPC environments.
- Developing automation tools with Bash and Python scripting to streamline operational tasks.
- Creating and maintaining software solutions in Python and Rust, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Containerizing applications with Docker, PodMan, and containerd to improve portability and efficiency.
- Orchestrating deployments and infrastructure with Ansible.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in live, operational systems.
- Leveraging CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and source control (Git) to deliver secure, rapid updates.

- Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) with 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) with 7+ years of experience, OR 9+ years of relevant Software Engineering experience in comparable mission-driven environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
